our history

In 2013, Michael started the CDT Diploma course to be a Clinical Dental Technician. This is an exciting development in his career, as he is now able to treat patients requiring dentures to the highest standards as taught by Health Education Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. His qualifications were given by the Royal College of Surgeons in England on 1st July 2015.

In 1973, Michael went to Warwick University and studied Management Sciences. He then studied at Manchester on a full-time four-year dental course and worked at the Manchester Student Hospital in his consolidatory year. This excellent all-round technical training gave Michael skills in prosthetics, crown and bridge, ceramics, orthodontics and maxillofacial. His natural artistic flair soon became apparent in his work and he gained a reputation as a ceramist.

In 1985, he established MF. Rosa Cosmetic Dental Laboratory which has flourished to the present day.

Michael Rosa has been involved in Implant restoration since 1987 under the initial tuition of Dr Vernon Flackett BDS. (St. Andrews), an international pioneer in the field of Implantology, credited with being the first practitioner in Europe to fit a Roberts Ramus Frame (1967) and early Blade Implants.

In 2008 his friend and colleague Paul Johnson invited him to join him on a trip to Cologne International Dental Exhibition. It was a trip that was to radically change his outlook and approach to dentistry. While wandering around the exhibition, he came across the Etkon CAD/CAM stand, quickly saw the benefits of Digital CAD/CAM and has been using the system ever since.
